The FX805 integrates a fast 25GHz low-gain, linear, dc-coupled, trans-impedance amplifier (TIA) with a high-speed, 25GHz dual-rank Sample and Hold (S&H) Amplifier, creating an analog-front-end (AFE) instrument IC that delivers ‘optical-reference-receiver’ instrumentation functionality to above 28Gb/s.
